How did you first hear about CREW Portland?

I first heard about CREW from my former mentor and Commercial Real Market President, Ann Young. She invited me to my first Corkscrew Event around 2014 and I thought I how do I get involved with this fantastic group of women.

What motivated you to join CREW Portland?

Networking, Business Development, Meet Inspiring People, Volunteer, Be a voice for women in Commercial Real Estate. I was really motivated and inspired to join CREW after getting involved in the Future Leaders program. The women and men in this committee were extremely passionate and motivated to lifting up folks who are new to the Commercial Real Estate industry. It was beautiful to see the collaboration and focus on education and diversity from every committee member. CREW's partnership with PSU's MRED program was also a huge factor in my decision to join. Networking at CREW and becoming like family with inspiring members, who are also leaders in our community, is icing on the cake.

How did you get here?

I originally went to college, with the dream of owning a small local pharmacy. I wanted to know and help all of the families in the local St. Johns area. I worked at U.S. Bank to put myself through college and worked in the various departments while learning about the finance industry first-hand. I completely nerded out when I found the Treasury Management and Commercial Real Estate departments. I instantly loved partnering with and helping the C Suite Leaders of complex National, Corporate and Commercial Real Estate companies find ways to improve efficiencies and strategize holistically. It was so fun going under the hood of each business and learning about the intricacies of each industry. I was always learning something new. There was numerous mentors and colleagues that helped me throughout my journey by pouring their knowledge, time, trust and energy into me. I would not be where I am today in my personal and business life without the many people who gave me a chance while lifting me up mentally.

I love live music and the arts, particularly dance.
