The managing partner of the firm I work for, Solvei Neiger, is involved with CREW and encouraged a group of us to apply for the Future Leaders programs as mentees
What motivated you to join CREW Portland?
I was motivated to join CREW after bonding with the Future Leaders committee members. I loved everyone I met, and I knew I needed more time to continue to deepen those relationships. I am excited to create new ones too!
How did you get here?
I graduated at the top of my class with two masters degrees in architecture, worked around the US and internationally to work in typologies I was curious about, and eventually sought out a position at ZGF where curiosity is encouraged
Tell us something we didn't know about you?
Others might not know that love spending time on farms. If I hadn't become a budding architect, I probably would've been an alpaca farmer
If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?
Dedicated, enthusiastic and fun-loving.
Favorite Travel Destination?
I've already visited, but I'd go back to Costa Rica any day! I loved going on rainforest tours to see dart frogs and other forest creatures, and I especially loved seeing the sloths. I am a bug animal / nature lover!
What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?
I'd like to continue to grow my network and deepen my sense of community in the AEC industry
